You are invited to read these provisions and note their responsibilities, arrangements for payments, cancellation terms and limitations on the liability of vacation homes am Turiawald. By booking one of our holiday apartments you accept the stated terms and conditions.
We reserve the right to change these general terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be published on our website.
We ask you to handle the objects and the technical equipment in the apartment carefully. Out of consideration for other guests and the furnishings, we kindly ask you not to smoke inside the apartment.
You should leave the accommodation in a proper condition at the end of your stay.
All items of furniture are part of the hired property. Please read all manuals carefully before using the electrical devices and follow the instructions given.
We don’t require a security deposit but we expect an existing personal liability insurance of the tenant or rather any insurance that covers damage the tenant causes to third parties. If the tenant does not have a valid liability insurance, any damage caused will be charged to the tenant himself and must also be paid by the tenant himself.
Damage caused to the rental object and its associated equipment by the tenant will be borne by the tenant. Please report damage to the lessor immediately.
Use of the parking lot in front of the house is at the user's own risk. We assume no liability for damage.
During the heating period from October 1st to April 30th, the heating costs are automatically included in the offer. During cold weather phases outside the heating period, the heating can be booked as an additional service on site for a fee.
Please make your booking by e-mail if possible. After booking, the tenant will receive a booking confirmation from us with the general terms and conditions. The invoice will be sent after the deposit has reached our bank account.
Arrival & Departure
Check-in time: 02:00 p.m. – 06:00 p.m.
Check-out time: not later than 10:00 a.m.
On day of arrival the owner will hand over the keys and will explain the furniture and equipment. On departure day the keys have to be returned to the owner till 10:00 a.m.
Prepayment & Payment
A deposit of 25% of the rent is due to secure the booking. The payment has to reach the lessor’s bank account within 8 days. Any bank fees must be borne by the tenant. After the prepayment the tenant receives an invoice. If the deposit does not arrive within these 8 days, the booking expires and the rental property is offered as available again.
The remaining amount is due in cash on day of arrival. A bank transfer of the remaining amount, as an alternative to cash payment on site, is possible by arrangement. In this case, the remaining amount must reach our bank account no later than the day before arrival.
If you shorten your stay no repayment is possible.
All quoted rates are calculated fixed prices and are non-negotiable.
If additional people travel with you who have not yet been specified when booking the apartment, it is necessary for logistical reasons to notify us at least 2 days before arrival.
If the tenant does not arrive by 06:00 p.m. on the day of arrival, the rental property will be offered as available again at 12:00 p.m. the following day, unless a later arrival time has been agreed. In case of no-show 80% of the rental rate will be charged to the tenant.
Cancellations will only be accepted in writing.
After a cancellation the guest has no entitlement to an alternative date.
The cancellation is free of charge 3 months before the date of arrival. In this case we repay the prepayment (any bank fees have to be paid by the tenant and will be deducted from the deposit).
Cancellation up to 30 days before arrival date: a fee of 25% of the rental rate will be charged.
Cancellation up to 10 days before arrival date: a fee of 50% of the rental rate will be charged.
Cancellation after this time: a fee of 75% of the rental rate will be charged.
We recommend to purchase a travel cancellation insurance.
If a booking is canceled and a stay at another time is requested, the guest must make a new booking request by e-mail stating the new arrival and departure dates. The deposit of the canceled booking will be credited to the new booking. The booking is only confirmed when the new booking confirmation and the new invoice are sent by Family Schabernig.
Should the government tighten the COVID-19-measures shortly before the day of arrival, which would result in an official shutdown of the accommodation facilities in Schiefling and / or would prohibit entry into the community of Schiefling, the guest is entitled to free cancellation and repayment of the deposit.
Barbecue & Open Fire
Barbecue is only permitted with our own barbecue grill and only outside the apartment. The grill should be cleaned after each use by the tenant. The barbecue must not be left out in the rain or outside overnight. The lighting of open fires is prohibited both in the apartment and on the terrace and in the surrounding area.
Pets are not allowed.
Woerthersee PLUS Card and beach package
The scope of services and the service partners are negotiated and determined every year by Woerthersee Tourism. We have no influence on this and therefore assume no liability for the range of services offered by the guest card.
